Thank you for keeping us busy this year! We met so many amazing people. Some of them come back every week 🙏, some of them became our close friends 🫂, some are fans of our bread and pastry 🥖, some can't eat any other baked goods but ours 🙌, some are still doubtful about gluten.

We appreciate every one of you 🙏 It is so important to raise awareness in our community about healthy eating 🌱

Our mission is to make more people aware of the benefits of sourdough, fermentation process, organic and natural ingredients 🌱

Thank You for recommending us to others 🙌

We will be back in 2025 with our regular and new items. For now let's all rest, recharge and restore our energies to create more in the coming new year! 💆🏻‍♀️

Date: January 12 & 26, 2025 (2 courses will be offered in January. You only need to attend one course.)

Time: 10:00 – 12:00

In-person class: $125 + HST (-15% discounted rate is valid until December 1, 6PM AST)

Price includes the following supplies:

· Bread dough ready to bake at home

Description: Sourdough Beginners Workshop is here in Halifax! At this in-person class taught by our Food Safety certified sourdough mentor from LOAFIS BAKED GOODS, you will master the fundamentals and caring of sourdough starter, mixing, shaping and scoring the dough.

Note that sourdough is time-consuming process, as we do not use instant yeast. This two-hour course will summarize the three-day sourdough process, covering all steps intensively. You will see the demos of the process, participate in the dough-making process, and get home with your own ready-to-bake loaf of bread.

LOAFIS BAKED GOODS makes homemade sourdough bread and various sourdough baked goods with organic and natural ingredients. Our products aim to share the ancient bread-making tradition using three simple ingredients – flour, water, and salt. All our products are made with organic sourdough starter. There is no commercial yeast, preservatives, flavors, or seed oils. Our main purpose is to raise awareness in our community of healthy eating through the simplicity and minimum ingredients of baked goods.
