Hi, I’m Nikki! Thank you for being here! My passion for baking started in my mother’s kitchen, where all the women of my family gathered to bake traditional holiday treats, and elderly women taught the younger generation precious baking skills. We always used only the finest and natural ingredients in all our pastries, and our recipes have been passed down for generations with love and solicitude.

It is important to note that baking is not a job for me. It is my passion! My family is very conscious about healthy eating, and some time ago, we chose to make the most of our food at home. The only last product that was still bought from a store was bread. At some point, I decided to try building my sourdough starter. It took me a few attempts and failures until I finally had an active, strong organic starter.

Her name is June! She was created in June 2023 from organic, unbleached, not enriched flour and filtered water. Later, she was fed with organic whole wheat and organic spelt flour. Since then, my starter has been happy and helped create many delicious loaves of sourdough bread and pastry. I was perfecting my baking skills by practicing baking more bread and sharing it with my neighbors and friends, who told me I should start selling it.

In October 2023, we established LOAFIS BAKED GOODS. The name was inspired by bubble gum from my childhood, called “Love is” and every gum came with a sticker that told a little love story. Now, every loaf I make is a new delicious story, just like those stickers that talk about little acts of love to make her happy because all our loaves are made with love to make our customers happy!
